CERVANTES IN CASTILLA Y LEÓN’S LIBRARIES

2016 marks the four hundred year anniversary of Cervantes’ death, one of the most influential writers of the Spanish Golden Age. For this occasion, the Castilla y León's Regional Departament for Culture and Tourism has created a digital space named Cervantes in Castilla y León’s Libraries. This digital space’s main aim is to spread this essential literary figure, crucial in the history and language of our community, by making available Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra’s novels, research and studies to all the people.

All the available resources in this digital space belong to the bibliographical heritage of the different libraries in Castilla y León. This collection currently has 170 resources dating from 1765 to 1948;  however, it will gradually increase during this year dedicated to Cervantes.
