Castilla y León Digital Library’s (BDCYL) main purpose is to help citizens freely access bibliographic resources, author’s documentaries and all different Castilian subjects that Castilla y León libraries and archives hold.

The BDCYL collection includes all kinds of printed and audio-visual digital resources such as books, documents, newspapers, magazines, maps, illustrations, engravings, photographs, sound files amongst others.  

The collection exceeds 15.000 resources and this number will regularly increase through a various year step digitalization schedule.

BDCYL wishes to become a cooperative project.  It is especially open to the proposals of authors or rights’ holders wanting to include new works to the digital library.

You can send your proposals for the inclusion of new works to the BDCYL main coordination address through the e-mail bcl@jcyl.es or through any of the addresses that you can find in the “Content” section on the home page.

In your proposal please indicate as detailed as possible the features of the work you want to include in the BDCYL. Pease include:

  • Author
  • Title
  • Editorial
  • Year of publication

 

Do not forget to write down in your proposal your personal details:

  • Name and surname
  • Identification number
  • Address
  • E-mail
