Teresian Digital Library

Castilla y León’s Government Culture and Tourism Department has created the Teresian Digital Library coinciding with Santa Teresa’s 500 birthday. It is intended to spread Santa Teresa’s works to all the people interested in her biography, an indispensable figure in the history of our region of Castilla y León.

The majority of the resources come from the Ávila Public Library. This entity contains the Library of Duque San Juan de Piedras Albas, booklover and bibliophile, jurist and writer who gathered one of the most extensive libraries about Santa Teresa.

The library currently holds 884 works from 1583 to 1959.
